Medical Receptionist Employment Opportunities

Area of Responsibility:

* Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone.

* Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time,  schedules appointments .

* Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; * Filing and retrieving patient records.

* Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.

* Updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges; controlling credit extended to patients; filing, collecting of fees and or co-pays at time of service.

* Maintains front  office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies.

* Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality

Skills/Qualifications:

Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing, Professionalism, Quality Focus, One year of Medical office setting experience.

We currently have openings for  FT and PT Medical Receptionist at the following locations:

 

Vashon Health Center - PT 24 hours a week and rotating Saturdays. 

West Seattle Family Medicine - FT Medical receptionist needed for busy family medicine practice. Must have great communication skills.This position may also include one or two evening shifts ( till 7:00PM) and rotating Saturdays.

Float Pool - guaranteed 24 hours a week, could be full-time, must be able to travel to all HMG locations.

Roxbury Clinic - FT Medical Receptionist, Spanish speaking prefered
