Summary:
Full time hourly position reporting to the Director of A/R Follow Up
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Follow-up on patient accounts (statement review)Incoming patient calls/insurance callsEvaluating correspondence/Explanation of Benefits from all insurance carriersReview patient mail and “bad” mailAppeal open claims
Qualification/Requirement:
Medical Billing Experience with knowledge of insurance explanation of benefitsFollow-up experience (patient & insurance companies)Thorough knowledge of software applications, excel and wordOrganizational and communication skills a plus
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma
