Go On Assignment with your career! Job PurposeProvide administrative support to a team of surgeons in the Department of Surgery.   Job Duties Surgery scheduling Managing physician schedules Monitor demands on surgeon’s time Preparing transcription Interfacing with physicians and maintaining office files Answer routine and non routine questions on behalf of surgeon. Problem solve as much as possible. Create and maintain organized filing system. Qualifications Excellent communication skills including but not limited to oral and written. Must be familiar with medical terminology. Maintains a high quality of professionalism. Proficient in MS word, excel, power point, and outlook applications. Must be able to type at least 70 WPM. Experience working with healthcare software a plus but not required. Maintains patient confidence by following company HIPAA policies and procedures.  Must be able to maintain a certain level of confidentiality with sensitive issues.
