Medical Bookkeeper

Our company is looking for detail oriented bookkeepers for our fast growing nursing home chain. We have two open positions, one in Illinois and one in Missouri

In Illinois the opportunity is for a highly motivated experienced bookkeeper that understands Public Aid billing, REV- Medicom, the application process,the denial process, the importance of a working relationship  with the  caseworkers to follow thru on the pending Public Aid residents to the approval status, the candidate is able to keep the books accurate using these tools to manage census changes,  must have heavy collection experience and a proven track record of years of experience in the nursing home accounting area. Would be responsible for applying for rep payee on new admits, helping verify income, verifying coverage for Medicare, HMO, sending out private statements and working with corporate office on delinquent accounts.  Must have experience with Keane RAM Accounting Software.

In Missouri the opportunity is for a highly motivated experienced bookkeeper that understands Missouri Medicaid, understands the process of billing online twice monthly on the web site, is responsible for the application process,the denial process, and how to appeal unfavorable decisions, able to work with the caseworkers to follow thru on the pending Missouri Medicaid residents to the approval status,  This candidate must be able to accurately using these tools to manage census changes,  must have heavy collection experience and a proven track record of years of experience in the nursing home accounting area. Would be responsible for applying for rep payee on new admits, helping verify income for social security benefits and pensions, verifying coverage for Medicare, HMO, sending out private statements and working with corporate office on delinquent accounts. Must have working knowledge of Keane RAM Windows Accounting Software.
