Medical Assistant - Pain Management
Job Description Aurora Health Care was created around the idea that there is a better way to provide health care. We are currently seeking dedicated Medical Assistants who are enthusiastic about providing exceptional patient care. The ideal individual will have outstanding clinical and customer service skills. The Medical Assistant assists with all aspects of patient care including : Performs basic lab and screening procedures. Prepares patient for exam and assists physician with exams and procedures. Obtains and records vital signs. Organizes and prepares exam rooms, lab, and work areas. Performs EKGs, vision testing, tympanograms, and basic lab procedures including urine collection and drawing of blood samples. Administers IM, SQ, and intradermal injections per physician order.We currently have a variety of Medical Assistant opportunities available throughout the Waukesha Area. General Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent required as well as successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent work experience. One year related clinical experience preferred. Must be CPR certified within six months and maintain annually. Must have verbal and written skills sufficient for effective communication.
