The physicians at our private medical practice specialize in advanced minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment modalities for a variety of chronic spine and pain conditions. Most procedures are performed under X-ray guidance for precise localization and added safety. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a private practice environment consisting of a dynamic team of individuals who provide the highest quality of care to our patients.
Job Description:
The Medical Assistant (MA) will be an integral part of the Spine and Pain Institute team approach for overall care of our patients. Under the direction of the supervising physicians at our practice, the MA will be involved in many aspects of patient care. The MA is responsible for greeting patients, escorting them into the exam rooms, obtaining patient history and vital signs and assisting with routine procedures performed in our procedure suite. Furthermore, the MA helps manage the daily operations and patient flow of the clinic including insurance verifications, worker's comp negotiations, billing, filing, and answering phones.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Experience preferred but will train the right person
Must have a car and be willing to travel to other clinics
BLS & CPR Certified
Knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
Computer literacy
Energetic & Enthusiastic
Outgoing & Confident
Motivated
Team player
Punctual
