A fast-paced large medical practice with electronic medical records in Edison has the following openings:

         

 Medical Assistant or LPN

         

            Main duties: gather & input patient history, change dressings, assist in patient care and other clinical duties as assigned. Hours : Monday thru Friday  9 – 6

 

          Qualifications: Fresh graduates with high GPA are encouraged to apply. Must be able to multi-task & work under pressure. Good working knowledge of Window PC skills.

 

Charge and payment poster

               

          Main duties: High volume data entry, insurance follow-ups and refiles, some phone contacts.

 

          Qualifications: Minimum 2 year experience in similar capacity or the ability to demonstrate good math aptitude along with data entry & balancing skills.

 

Medical Biller  

 

            Main duties:  Follow up with insurance and collect outstanding balances, appeal denials. Heavy phone contacts.

 

          Qualifications: Must have at least 2 year experience working in similar capacity in a healthcare organization.  Surgical coding experience will be a plus.

 

 

Billing Manager

 

Manage all facets of the billing department operations including hiring, training, and supervising the staff.

 

          Qualifications:  Candidates should possess a Bachelor Degree and have a minimum of five years experience in similar capacity in a healthcare organization.  Work experience can be used to substitute academic degree. Excellent communication skills and good working knowledge of PCs in Window environment. Surgical coding experience is a prerequisite. CPC with work experience will be a definite advantage. A cover letter with resume and salary expectations or salary history are required for consideration.
