Medical Assistant

Job Description Imagine yourself...Organizing and preparing of exam rooms, lab and work areas including cleaning, stocking, ordering supplies, checking equipment and putting away equipment.Preparing patients' for exams. Performs patient interview to determine appropriate patient preparation.Obtaining and recording vital signs according to patient's symptoms and age.Communicating effectively with patient, family or significant others and provides them with necessary emotional support. Follows through with necessary lab/x-ray requests, new appointment times and referral to other clinics and services as needed.Documenting and communicating accurate and timely information regarding patient conditions to the appropriate person. May participate in team conferences regarding patient problems as needed.

General Qualifications
Graduation from an approved Medical Assistant program.Must have CPR certification.Excellent guest relations skills essential.Basic computer skills.

Desired Qualifications
One year related experience preferred.
