We have immediate openings for Quality Assurance Coordinators!

 

Candidates:

§ Must have knowledge of EOBs, CPT & ICD-9 codes, HCFAs, UB92s, HCPCS, DRGs and authorizations/referrals

§ Must have knowledge with Microsoft Office package

§ Microsoft VISIO 2007 Software knowledge A+.

§ Must have reliable attendance record

§ Must have full understanding of the operational processes of the organization, quality review processes of the functions within the organization (i.e. Customer Service, Billing, Collections, Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Practices)

§ Must have well-developed interpersonal skills.

 



CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB FUNCTIONS:

Core responsibilities include but are not limited to the items listed below:

· Review & Interpret All Follow-up/Collection Activity for All Areas of Operation

· Review & Interpret Contractual Terms for Managed Care, Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and Workers’ Compensation

· Track & Determine Appropriate Supporting Documentation for All Follow-Up/Collection Activity

· Assist & Resolve Patient Inquiries/Requests in 24 Hour Period

· Assist with the Development of Training Materials & Training of Operational Team Members

· Assist with Special Projects

· Other Duties as Assigned

· Call Monitoring

· Account Review

· Creation & Maintenance of Company Policy & Procedures
