Six Sigma Master Black Belt (MBB) is responsible for driving the DFSS/DMAIC disciplines in the Device Center of Excellence (DCoE) globally. This challenging position will serve multiple product lines governed by various business units and will provide an exciting opportunity to have a tangible impact to the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   Drives DFSS/DMAIC integration and implementation into Baxter Product Development Process (PDP) Provides expert mentoring and assistance to product development program team and individuals in using DFSS/DMAIC tools in the areas of critical requirement identification, design prediction & optimization, problem characterization, and data analysis Coach program team and individuals in scoping projects in-line with problem complexity Ensures rigor in project execution, phase deliverables and timing, provides phase sign-off Establishes DFSS/DMAIC deployment plan to meet DCoE business units needs. Develops training strategies and tools, organizes and delivers training Develops best practices guidelines and process documents, delivers best practice sharing sessions Leads and works on high level cross-functional and high impact projects. Builds and evaluates infrastructures such as critical requirement management, modeling & simulation tools etc. Manages the relationships with partners internal to Baxter. QUALIFICATIONS: Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills Previously led product development efforts using DMAIC and/or DFSS techniques. The product developed was commercialized with desired level of quality Outstanding communication and leadership skills. Must effectively sell ideas and reasons for implementing changes Demonstrated ability to create and manage work plans and timelines independently Demonstrated ability to effectively coach Business Leaders, Sponsors, Black Belts, and Green Belts Possesses knowledge and hands on experience with problem definition, statistical analysis, QFD, Design of Experiment, simulation, optimization and robust design High degree of customer sensitivity. Establishes and maintains credibility with internal and external customers Demonstrates cross-functional project leadership Advanced user of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Minitab. Effectively leverages these and other tools to accomplish results Certified Six Sigma Black Belt required, Six Sigma Master Black Belt desired Minimum 10 years of relevant business experience BS/BA in Mechanical, Software, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required.
