Marketing Coordinator

Summary:
Responsible for coordinating marketing efforts, to include budgeting, inventory maintenance, and creative work, in support of major marketing plans.

Scope:
This position involves a high to very high degree of job structure. Under moderate to close supervision, the employee will complete tasks that are repetitive and straightforward that require some review of work. The employee is expected to follow uncomplicated instructions with limited discretion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support communication between various departments regarding marketing efforts
• Develop and implement tactical plans to support marketing strategies
• Track project budgets and schedules
• Inventory marketing output (samples, tapes, trinkets, etc.)
• Write and proofread draft copy points and creative comps

Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 – 3 years of job related experience.

• Read and comprehend simple correspondence; read and interpret less straightforward material such as activity reports, procedure manuals, and non-standard letters
• Write simple correspondence as well as more complex material such as progress reports, detailed forms, procedures, and non-standard letters and memos
• Perform simple math functions, such as counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing
• Calculate percentages, fractions or basic statistics, basic algebra or geometry
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Project management and/or trafficking experience
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
