Our client has engaged us in their search for a Manager of Utilization Review & Management.
As the centralized location for medical/surgical inpatient care, critical care and inpatient pediatric care plus emergency care, with specialty services in bariatric, heart and stroke care, our client is dedicated to servicing the community and providing excellent professional career opportunities within their organization.
Position Summary:
The Manager of Utilization Review & Management is responsible for oversight and analysis of utilization management functions including integrating Utilization Management, Discharge Planning, & Quality Improvement. The Manager also serves as a consultant providing guidance to the healthcare tea on patients in need of transfers, medical review or care plans.
Qualifications:
RN required, BSN preferred. Previous Utilization Review, Quality Assessment, Discharge Planning or Home Care experience highly preferred. Eligible for or certified for Certified Professional Utilization Review and Certified Case Manager.
