Manager of Pediatric Proton Therapy / 07-13691
Position Description:
Responsible for the overall operations of the program including setting standards of the scope of the program, development of systems to support the clinical and administrative functions and supervision of personal. In collaboration with physician leaders and CHOP administration, establishes clinical policies, procedures and protocols which ensure continuous improvement of the quality of care delivery to the pediatric proton therapy patients and families that exceeds standards set by appropriate accreditation bodies. Responsible for the overall management of the pediatric aspect of Proton Therapy Program to assure innovative, efficient health care delivery system for the institution. Serves as a consultant to administration, medical staff, families and other departments and services in matters related to the quality delivery of the proton therapy to pediatric oncology patients/families.
Qualifications:
• Licensed as professional nurse in Pennsylvania• Advanced Practice Nurse designation as PNP, or CNS.• Advanced Practice Nurse (MSN, PNP, CNS) with 5 years experience as an advanced practice nurse. • Minimum 5 years of pediatric oncology nursing experience required.• Minimum 5 years of administrative and management experience within a Hospital setting required.• Demonstrated leadership abilities• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Critical analysis and problem solving skills.
