NHP currently has an opening for a Manager of Business Systems Analysis. The Manager of Business Systems Analysis is responsible for leading a team of business analysts who are responsible for proper planning and coordination between IT and business areas, such as Claims Processing, Member Services, Member Enrollment, Clinical Operations, Provider Relations, Provider Audit and Business Development. Responsible for ensuring that all technical requests or enhancements projects will follow the established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including but not limited to project opportunity statements, documented business requirements, creation of functional specifications, scope documentation, test requirement, project plans, test plans, and that all IT testing is complete prior to business testing. Responsibilities: • Provide hands on business analyst support, including project management, analysis, and written documentation and testing.• Responsible for planning and staffing appropriate resources for software implementation, development efforts, application and reporting application enhancement projects.• Must be able to translate business requirements into solid requirements documentation for development projects.• Provide leadership to the team.• Responsible for all business analyst projects • Must be able to proactively identify issues and look for ways to solve them.• Assumes lead responsibility and hands on support for department activities as required • Works collaboratively with internal and external staff• Ability to work effectively with cross functional business areas to achieve project objectives and plan the course of action to follow.• Possess deep working knowledge of managed care environment.• Assign personnel and resources to various projects to meet business needs. Prepares project plans, and adheres to SDLC • Establishes and maintains documentation standards for all phase of SDLC.• Works with team to establish end user training and a consistent approach to project management Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science • 5 + years working experience as a business analyst in the information technology industry• 5 + years experience in a managed care environment• Experience managed care system• Manages and aligns projects, defining business/ technical requirements, managing and delegating tasks, facilitating meetings, creating status updates, provide quality deliverables within time and budget commitments.• Mentor/trains team members or business users on subject expertise.• Must have strong functional business knowledge, have excellent analytical, communication, judgment and documentation skills• Must have excellent customer service attitude and strong team player• Proven ability to work independently and in a collaborative approach NHP offers competitive salaries and an excellent flexible benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance, generous earned time, commuter benefit, and a 401(k) employer contributed retirement program.
