Experience: Candidates interested in this position should posses the minimum qualifications. A Bachelors degree with a major or minor in Accounting or in Business Administration is required and a Masters Degree in Business Administration or a CPA is preferred. Five years business management experience with strong financial and systems background. Strong marketing experience is required. Experience in a health related field is preferred.Must have the following skills and aptitude: Good written and oral communication Strong interpersonal skills Analytical skills Financial analysis and management Conflict resolution skills Excellent problem solving skills Staff recruitment, retention and development Experience with Physician relations Proficient in Excel, Word and MS Office Understanding of State and federal regulatory guidelines for Emergency Services (including coding and billing) Working knowledge of Physician billing information systems Effective knowledge of supply chain processes Strong knowledge of Lawson software is preferred Must be able to successfully pass the Basic Windows Skill Assessment at 80% or higher rating 30 days from date of hire Ability to plan time effectively, balance multiple tasks, work within stringent time frames, and execute projects to completion. Must have a valid state driver's license and auto insurance to travel between facilities is required. Coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of processes that support increased quality, decreased cost, and improved service. Establish and meet desired outcomes that measure quality, cost and service.  Which are consistent with the goals of the facility. Serve as a liason to ensure that communications are maintained effectively between administrative support departments and all entities of the division. Administer required department plans and policies. Ensure timely and accurate payments to providers in accordance with the applicable department plans. Establish and review annually or as needed any required fees and professional fee structures. Ensure attainment of any required departmental credentials, licenses and plan and or professional documentation. May be required to support activities associated with applicable department contract negotiations necessary. Develop, implement and maintain the budget for all areas of responsibility.  Maintain budget in parameters set forth at the beginning of each fiscal year and review financial reports monthly and as required. Work with the management team in the development of all phoases of strategic planning for the department.
