Applications Development Manager needed for the Billing IT group that performs the implementation and support of laboratory billing information systems using Flowcast 3.0 financial suite. This position is responsible for the planning and coordination of daily tasks of a small IT team with 4-6 resources as part of our Flowcast implementation. Successful candidate will be an organized and detail-oriented resource with a strong drive and people management skills. The candidate will also be knowledgeable in laboratory billing procedures/practices and able to discuss and document complex implementation scenarios and communicate well with users. Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate and review the activities and deliverables of his/her team across the different ongoing implementation initiatives  Leads the modification of existing solutions and the addition of new modules, features and enhancements  Performs basic project management activities such as status reporting, risk and issue management as well as communication  Acts as the liaison with the other IT and business groups  Continuously mentor the team through on-the-job interaction to advance their knowledge and productivity  Review functional and/or technical specifications for Flowcast 3.0 enhancements and modifications  Coordinate development, configuration, validation, unit testing and migration tasks in concert with and at the direction of the Implementation Project Manager  Develops and/or reviews detailed enhancement plans and effort estimates Skill Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project Management role PMP Certification required  IDX isn't required, but a nice to have  Ability to plan and track the activities for his/her team  Experience on the design, development and implementation of software solutions, either a package implementation or a custom-development project  Solid knowledge of Laboratory Billing procedures/practices  Ability to understand complex billing scenarios and discuss them in detail both with the business and the IT technical team  Ability to multitask and drive various initiatives in parallel  Strong planning and organization skills  Strong written and verbal communications skills, combined with the ability to work in a dynamic startup environment are critical skills for success Along with competitive salaries and career growth opportunities, regular full time employees who work at least 32 hours per week are eligible for Health and Dental plans, a vision plan and a 401(k) retirement plan - all of which include company contributions.
