Manager-Northwest Vermont Health Services
Northwestern Medical Center, a 70 bed community hospital serving Franklin and Grand Isle counties of Vermont, is seeking a full time Manager to oversee our physician billing and collection services at its wholly owned subsidiary, Northwest Vermont Health Services (NVHS).
The NVHS Manager is responsible for supervising NVHS staff and performing duties in all areas of NVHS, including billing and collection. Knowledge of billing laws and regulations, business office procedures, and familiarity with medical terminology, diagnostic and CPT4 coding are essential. Must display tact, credibility and excellent judgment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or an Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field with five or more years of applicable experience, and an agreement that a Bachelor's Degree will be completed within five years from hire date
- Minimum of five years physician medical billing/collection experience
- Excellent communication, negotiating and problem solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with good organization
