In this position you will:

Facilitates pre-treatment certification, initial evaluation, and extended visit reviews (UR) Liaison with insurance companies in developing the case for patient admittance and ongoing treatment Interact with referring Psychiatrist, Doctors and Therapist on patient cases Responsible for successful reimbursement for patient care and persuading the insurers of the need for specific treatments (CBH) Collecting and maintaining procedures on patient treatment and practices and follow-up cases in appeal Support the registration area with the tasks of counseling patients on their insurance, charge entry and collecting of co-payments Verify and re-verify patients insurance on a monthly basis from a well-maintained database

If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:

Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Health Administration or related field or a bachelor's degree in a relevant academic discipline and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the Healthcare field Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and develop quantitative data measures to track progress and performance Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to effectively manage multiple tasks; ability to develop quantitative data measures to track progress and performance; strong interpersonal and writing skills; significant and successful experience with database and computer skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access Must be familiar with registration, verification and billing systems as well as utilization review Ability to work with multiple departments while performing the tasks of the job
