EEO/M/F/D/VTerritory includes: Tri-state area; New York, New Jersey, Connecticut Primary Purpose:Develop new business opportunities to sell CBS products and services to new and/or existing large employer accounts with 2,500 + employees. Emphasis is placed on repetitive revenue business solutions that will result in highly satisfied, long-term customers. Products include benefits administration systems, reimbursement solutions, and continuation administration i.e. COBRA. Position is responsible to hunt for new sales opportunities with large employers; create and develop relationships through strategic sales channels; close and/or refer qualified deals as outlined by sales rules of engagement; and manage territory by coordinating efforts with the Channel Management (Consultants) and Benefit Sales Specialists (Lead Generators). The CBS Sales organization structure requires collaboration with others. Some opportunities require SOV sharing as defined by departmental guidelines and management guidance. Major Responsibilities - Key duties performed, but not meant to be all-inclusive or to prevent other duties from being assigned. Hunt for CBS opportunities within assigned geographic territory by leveraging relationship and direct solicitation skills.Develop relationships to generate new opportunities through strategic sales channels to include brokers, consultants, employers, strategic partners, and other Ceridian business units.Qualify opportunities through C review process.Facilitate/Participate in the entire sales process to include prospecting, proposal development, presentation and contract negotiationsPresent Ceridian solutions to prospects and sales channels in initial and finalist situations.Prepare and negotiate contracts and pricing strategies for targeted opportunities. Analyze business opportunities within assigned territory, ensuring that all Ceridian products and services have been thoroughly presented and sales cycle professionally executed. Provide accurate forecast and activity reports to management. Maintain prospect and territory activity via sales CRM reporting database (currently Pivotal system). Collaborate with implementation and relationship management teams to ensure smooth implementation. Keep management apprised of customer situations and competitors as appropriate. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Flexible office environment which may include district or virtual office. Automobile and airline travel required. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. 5 - 7 years of sales experience. 2-3 years experience selling to large employers (over 1,000 employees)Strong verbal and written communication skills. Superior inter-personal and presentation skills.Solid understanding of the Benefits/HR Outsourcing industryOrganized, self motivated.Experience (knowledge & skills): Demonstrated success in sales. Prior experience with consultants, TPA’s, carriers a plus. Knowledge of Human Resources, Benefits or Payroll required. Familiarity with PCs and software is required.Sales - InsideAdditional Information:Travel Percentage: 30%
