MRI Technologist - WMH/Pool
Job Description:
DUTIES:
Perform various MR procedures as ordered for patients
Evaluate MR imaging to assure established quality control.
Assist with development of new MR procedures.
Implement proper patient positioning utilizing age appropriate technique/equipment.
Perform MR procedures as ordered by physicians.
Prepare patient exam records as directed.
Maintain efficient operation of all equipment in order to preserve its effectiveness.
Assist physician and radiology nurse in procedures such as stereotactic MR and patient sedation.
Maintain adequate supplies of MR section.
Provides care during emergencies utilizing CPR (adult) and (neonate) competency
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiological technology.
Board certified in MR by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) and is a member in good standing.
Possesses excellent communication skills.
