The position will work part time as a MDS Coordinator and part time as a Restorative Nurse.As the MDS Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the current MDS Coordinator in coordinating the development and completion of the resident assessment process in accordance with the requirements of the Federal and state regulations as well as Company policy and procedures. As the Restorative Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices and regulationsRequirements *Current and active RN license in PA *Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a health care setting w/ a minimum of 1 year of experience in a LTC setting *Prior experience as an MDS coordinator with demonstrated expertise *Must be able to demonstrate clinical assessment skills at the level necessary to meet the job requirements *Ability to make independent decisions on a regular basis *Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long term care *Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team *Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use *Proven written and oral communication skills *Proven decision making and analytical skills *Able to relate positively, favorably and cooperatively with others, including, associates, residents, family members, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations *Must be able to travel, including overnight staysBeverly offers a competitive salary and benefits package.Visit our website at http://www.goldenlivingcenters.com/EOE M/F/D/V Drug Free Workplace
