Looking for a Web Developer in a Healthcare environment
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Web Developer in the Seattle, WA area. The Web Developer designs, configures, supports and maintains vendor-supplied software and integrated computer data systems, either independently or as a team member. Core responsibility includes the integration of Epic Web across multiple businesses and support systems. Responsibilities: Designing and implementing medium complexity system solutions across multiple departments and serves in key technical roles throughout the vendor-supplied software lifecycle Working closely with the technical support on issues of install choices, master file and category list set up, synonyms and preference lists, etc. Analyzes business requirements and develops design specifications and test plans to meet business requirements Working with the appropriate subject matter experts in the Design, Build, Validate (DBV) sessions Configures software to meet design specifications and develops implementation plans for vendor provided software Provides ongoing support and maintenance for production systems Acts as liaison with operations community to ensure continuing responsiveness of applicable system software user requirements Identifies, evaluates, tailors, and directs the implementation of Epic Resolute Hospital Billing software package Ensures the maintenance of adequate software systems documentation Provides technical assistance and training to users of systems, with little or no instruction or mentoring Experience: Experience in some or all of the following: JAVA, HTML, FrontPagte, SharePoint, .NetA minimum of two years systems analyst experience with at least one year serving as an active participant in the successful completion of one go-live or upgrade implementing Epic Systems software Skilled Information Technology professionals strongly preferred Prior job experience configuring vendor-supplied software such as PeopleSoft, Seibel, Epic, or SAP Prior job experience working with large data sets and database applications such as SQL or Oracle Ability to assess release scope and business requirements deliverables to identify system impacts and estimate level of effort Ability to translate business requirements into technical design and maintain comprehensive technical documentation Ability to work collaboratively with vendors and colleagues to analyze problems and propose recommended solutions that meet both business and technical needs. Ability to configure and unit test the system as specified in the business and technical requirements to meet configuration exit criteria according to schedule. Ability to maintain status of tasks, defects, issues, and support requests on a daily basis in each respective tool.
