Lobbyist
Senior Associate / Lobbyist
Nation’s largest medical specialty society seeks a lobbyist for its Washington, DC office. Will advocate the association’s positions with members of Congress and their staff, and assist in the development of policy options and strategies to achieve the organization’s goals and objectives with Congress. The successful candidate will work closely with our PAC in developing strategies and attending fundraisers. Hill experience/contacts, strong influencing skills, excellent writing skills, and knowledge of current healthcare issues needed. Understanding of the Medicare authorization and the appropriations process and knowledge of issues of importance to primary care physicians preferred. Superior benefits package.
