Life Care Planner - Virginia State Coverage

We are currently seeking an Certified Life Care Planner to do Life Care Planning in the State of Virginia on a Part-Time basis.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for life care planning assignments and cost projections for various types of injured/disabled individuals.  Completed plan will usually require ability to provide deposition and/or courtroom testimony to defend LCP findings.  Final product is provided to attorneys working on behalf of plaintiff or defense.  Will be supervised by a CLCP.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Diploma, A.S. degree or B.S. degree in nursing preferred or related education.  2+ years clinical nursing experience required or related.  Must be a Certified Life Care Planner.  Field work, Case Management and/or Workers’ compensation-related experience preferred. Registered nurse with current, valid state licensure required. Other state licenses/certifications as required by law. Valid driver’s license required.  Must have excellent interpersonal skills, phone manners and  organizational skills.  Ability to set priorities and work independently is essential.  Computer literacy also required.
