Licensed Vocational Nurse Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the health service department. Plans, coordinates and delegates medical and health education management procedures to determine the health care needs of all Residential residents and babies. Serves as a health consultant to staff through health teaching, health counseling and health promotion. Develops and implements policies and procedures relating to all health care services and medical recording keeping.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduate of an accredited program. Current licensure as an LVN preferred.
2. Demonstrated experience with young adolescent teenage and children populations and knowledge and understanding of the components of an effective health maintenance and education program 3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; understanding of multi-cultural/linguistic communities.
4. Knowledge of child development, behavioral health, and current health issues relating to maternal and child health, developmentally age appropriate health risk factors for the population served, infection control, preferred.
5. CPR-Adult, Infant and Child Certified.
Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm
