Licensed Psychologist

Bridgewell has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Licensed Psychologist who will provide assessment, documentation, and consultation for individuals served by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) for guardianship/conservatorship determinations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Complete assessments and provide consultation to DDS necessary for guardianship/ conservatorship determinations and document in Clinical Team Report (CTR) form.
2. Complete neuropsychological assessments and penile plethysmography for individuals served by DDS who have developmental disabilities and who exhibit PSB.
3. Provide DDS with written documentation, oral presentation, consultation and interpretation of assessment result.
4. Provide direct services to DDS consumers, including diagnostic formulation and treatment, recommendations for plan of care, identification and documentation of special problems, consultation with DDS staff regarding continuing care and treatment planning to reinforce positive behavior.
5. Maintain client records according to regulatory standards.
6. Develop and implement in-service trainings.
7. Complete all necessary paperwork for billing purposes.
8. Provide clinical supervision to psychology interns.
9. Adhere to ethical standards of the American Psychological Association.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience:

1. Must be licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Psychologists with a specialization and/or training in clinical psychology.
2. Must have demonstrated history of current work with individuals with an intellectual disability, and those with co-occurring mental health disorders including PSB.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

1. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Must have excellent organizational skills.
3. Must have knowledge of the techniques for working successfully with individuals receiving services from DDS.
