Licensed Practical Nurse Clinic

Job Description Imagine yourself...Obtaining and documenting patient and other pertinent data.Communicating effectively with patients and their family.Following through with necessary lab/x ray requests, and appointment times and referrals to other areas and services as needed.Organizing and preparing exam rooms, lab, and work areas including cleaning, stocking, ordering supplies, checking equipment, and putting equipment away.Administering IM, SQ, and intradermal injections per physician order. Performing EKGs, basic lab procedures, vision testing, tympanograms, vital signs, and simple dressing changes.Completing and documenting minor routine maintenance, cleaning, sterilizing, and care of equipment.

General Qualifications
Current status as a State of Wisconsin Licensed Practical Nurse.Must be CPR certified within six months of hire date and maintain annually.

Desired Qualifications
One year of nursing experience with previous clinic experience.Verbal and written communication skills sufficient for effective communication.
