Description: JPS Health Network has an excellent opportunity for a Licensed Physical Therapist to work in our flagship facility John Peter Smith Hospital. Full time, Monday thru Friday day shift opening. The Physical Therapist will organize and conduct medically prescribed Physical Therapy programs for inpatient and outpatient services in order to restore function and prevent disability following injury or illness. Will evaluate and develop programs of care and treatment for patients, primarily adult and geriatric, but may also include newborns and infants, children and pediatrics, and adolescents. Will provide leadership and/or direction for the support staff and/or Physical Therapy students as needed.
Qualifications: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school is required. Master's degree is preferred. Current licensure by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners required. A minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred. New Graduates Welcome.
