Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Licensed Mental Health Counselor needed to provide mental health services primarily to Latino clients of Lynn Community Health Center.
LMHC will provide an assessment of needs, liaison networking between clinical staff and community agencies, and referral, advocacy, and outreach activities. The primary goals will be to develop, plan and provide direct mental health and substance abuse services.Â
LMHC will conduct intakes, attend case conferences, coordinate services with direct care providers, provide direct mental health and substance abuse clinical care to registered clients in conjunction with other licensed professional mental health and substance abuse staff, assist Medical Director, Behavioral Health Director, and staff in planning and providing culturally appropriate services for Latino Community, provide support groups, provide outreach and advocacy, and case management, be available for translation for mental health and substance abuse emergencies pertaining to Latino clients.
Requirements include: Current Mass. License as LMHC, community mental health experience, and bilingual in Spanish.
