Their culture believes in providing high customer satisfaction by supplying products and services that delight customers and offer value.  The working environment promotes values and encourages employee development, diversity, and leadership excellence. ***This is a 1-month contract opportunity!!! The ideal candidate will responsible for the following:  Places outbound calls to providers regarding need for clinical information. Providing outbound calls to members/patients to notify of authorizations.  Outbound calls to members notifying them of in-network providers and directs calls for further problem resolution, if necessary.  Typically handles larger clients and more difficult situations. Utilizes effective communication, courtesy and professionalism in all interactions, both internally and externally. Accesses automated system to open/document cases -collects and provides data entry of case information Provides accurate information to callers based on an understanding of customer and service requirements Determines the course of action for each call based on pre-established guidelines, channeling to appropriate staff May redirect, forward calls to more senior unit member or specialist -performs certification using scripted guidelines Verification of eligibility via the claim system PPO Channeling or other specialty service reviews as appropriate and under supervision of clinical specialist Communicates professionally with callers, patients, healthcare providers, insurance community and specialists to provide and verify information; to explain processes; to answer questions regarding products and services Performs general administrative duties (such as faxing and retrieving phone mail), backing other unit members as needed, and performs other duties as assigned. Performs outbound calls to providers to obtain additional information needed to certify cases on as needed basis Precept new hire employees. Perform other duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS:  Needs to know Medical Terminology & Must be familiar with ICD-9 and CPT coding! High School diploma or GED Prior experience in customer service role/operation Good telecommunications and customer service skills Proven data entry skills; Windows experience preferred Basic knowledge and understanding of Intracorp products and services Working knowledge of medical terminology as it relates to specialty services Working knowledge of automated systems/telephone systems Ability to adapt and be flexible within fast-paced dynamic environment Ability to adapt to a high volume call  center environment Ability to function as part of a team Time management skills Ability to work independently: Customer Focus Integrity and Trust Effective Decision Making Dealing with Ambiguity Priority Setting Represents health services support career path Majority of time spent verifying and entering data Works under moderate direct supervision Applies knowledge of Intracorp services and account specific information in performing duties Operates well in a team environment; contributes to team and organizations goals Provides quality customer service, giving and obtaining information in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining productivity and quality standardsSerious Candidates should send their word version resumes to riamatta@spherion.com or call immediately @ 630-919-2907 Contact: PLEASE E-MAIL RESUMES TO: Apply by Email
