Learning Solutions Developer
Primarily responsible for course development projects (web-based) in the designing, planning, development and evaluation of learning and performance improvement solutions with a focus on working with subject matter experts in the creation of computer-based training courses for delivery within the organization’s Learning Content Management System. Requirements1. Bachelor’s degree required with major in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology; or commensurate experience. 2. Extensive and demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, instructional systems design methodologies, adult learning theory and application, and e-learning concepts, technologies and process solutions. 3. Demonstrated ability to write engaging course content for a diverse audience of professionals. 4. Experience developing online content in a Learning Content Management System. 5. Experience using Reusable Learning Objects and SCORM / AICC concepts. 6. Familiarity with synchronous and asynchronous online learning environments. 7. Highly proficient in Microsoft Windows, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook; knowledge of Microsoft Project and Visio a plus. 8. Expertise with design and media tools such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Premier, SoundForge, Javascript, and HTML. 9. Extensive experience using an online authoring tool such as CourseMaker Studio, Toolbook Instructor, Authorware, Captivate, Lectora, or Articulate. 10. Experience with virtual web-based training such as Centra or WebEx. 11. Strong aesthetic, design composition and typographical abilities. 12. Experience independently interviewing clients and subject matter experts at all levels of the organization. 13. Able to identify problems and break down complex concepts and processes into component parts to be trained. 14. Able to take information from multiple sources and create ongoing performance-based training solutions. 15. Excellent teamwork, communication, project management and organizational skills. 16. Ability to work in a demanding and time-sensitive environment. 17. Strong analytical and researching skills.
