Lead Registered Nurse Outpatient Rehabilitation

Job Description Imagine yourself... Leading a multi disciplinary team approach for our patients in outpatient therapy programs. Our rehabilitation team puts together the services and systems needed to get patients on the road to recovery while assuring high quality and cost effective care. In addition, they provide care coordination, patient education and patient support. This team is dedicated to providing our patients with seamless care. As the lead RN on this team, you will direct the staff, work with rehabilitation leadership and physicians, and develop plans and strategies to enhance our programs.

Imagine yourself...
Providing direct patient care and participating in clinical projects
Assisting with human resource responsibilities for the staff including hiring staff, performance evaluations and disciplinary action.
Providing work direction to the staff
Maintaining and promoting relationships between patients, families, other medical staff
Promoting care management initiatives within the clinic
Managing annual budgets
Establishing quality standards

General Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure by the State of Wisconsin
Knowledge of clinical nursing practice equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regionally accredited bachelor's degree program in nursing.
A minimum of three years of nursing experience in an outpatient clinic setting setting

Desired Qualifications
CPR certification
Experience with working with physician office managers
Previous leadership experience preferred, including human resource responsibilities
Previous budgeting experience preferred
Experience with physical medicine and rehabilitation
