Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Details:


A lead position responsible for effective coordination and oversight of daily patient care activities in Nuclear Medicine. Accountable for optimization of technical staff resources as well as supplies. Functions as a liaison with the radiologists, cardiologists, staff and leadership. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the processes and procedures relating to Nuclear Medicine services and the utilization of radiopharmaceuticals. This includes CT Spect Imaging techniques, computer processing, and QC of cameras, dose calibrators and other nuclear instrumentation. Assists in formulating strategies for monitoring and assuring quality and quality improvement. Qualifications include graduation from a program accredited by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must be licensed by the state of Vermont in Nuclear Medicine. Certified in venipuncture and CPR. 1-2 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
