Lead Medical Technologist
The areas top teaching hospital is looking to hire a Lead Medical Technologist . We’re looking for a Medical Technologist who is an ASCP certified Medical Technologist with a Clinical Laboratory Technologist license. Responsibilities include: overseeing daily operations, maintaining schedule of tech's to ensure the lab is adequately staffed, QA/QC checks, system maintenance issues and accuracy of test results. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science, or related science (Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, etc.) 2. Must be MT (ASCP) certified 3. New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License from NYSDOE 4. Good communication and organizational skills 5. Minimum of 5 years experience as a technologist, supervisory skills preferred Compensation: Offers a very competitive compensation package, which includes base salary, full benefits and retirement plan.
