Job Abstract: 

The Lap Band Advocate will provide ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­direct patient support and point of contact for patients assigned to them. 

 

Responsibilities: 
True Results is looking for candidates with aggressive inside sales experience. This person should be highly self motivated, detail oriented and energetic. 



· Point of contact to patient for assistance through the process

· Responsible for providing & arranging proper measures for patient outcomes

· Assist patient  with acquiring financing/insurance benefits

· Provide completed insurance information to insurance specialist and follow up to review benefits with prospective patient

· Conduct  local Tue Results seminars, expositions, and support groups to meet prospective patients and generate community awareness

· Work closely with Director of Physician Services to acquire new patient leads through PCP referrals

· Knowledge of the True Results program and Lap-Band system

· Inquires both in person and by telephone to ensure proper follow-up before and after surgery

· Demonstrates courteous and cooperative behavior with patients, family, and co-wokers

· Participates in providing input and guidance for patients before and after surgery

· Works with the appointed surgery center team as necessary to determine and develop effective outcomes for patients pre/post operatively

· Effectively assist in tracking of new and established patients   

· Identify needs and priorities for patients in order to effectively intervene in fulfilling patients needs before and after surgery

· Monitor, coordinate, and update tracking systems daily 

· Monitor and follow up on patients no show appointment system as needed

· Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse population

· Participate in a weekly team meeting via phone conference or attend other meetings requested by manager

· Utilize NetSuite reports to monitor patient flow and to ensure proper/prompt patient follow up through process

· Any additional duties as assigned by manager
 

Qualifications: BS/BA, preferred but not required or work equivalent 3-5  years of work experience.Desire to work in a fun, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.Inside sales experience a plusStrategic, cross-functional thinker.Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, writing and delivery.Outstanding project and people management skills.
