LPNs Needed to Work With Children and Adolescents!
The Pines Residential Treatment Centers have been helping children and adolescents overcome a variety of difficulties in a therapeutic, safe and structured residential environment. We offer several distinct residential programs for youth ages 5 to 21 and have emerged as one of the largest and strongest treatment organizations for behaviorally disordered youth. Currently, we are recruiting for full-time, part-time and flex/on-call LPNs to join our Portsmouth facilities.
This position provides quality nursing care for residents and contributes to the formulation and implementation of resident care treatment plans. Serves as a role model for residents to observe and learn socially effective values, attitudes and behaviors. Responds to the emotional, social and physical needs or the resident, implements the emergency use of seclusion and/or restraint as required, acts as a medication nurse and maintains a clean, safe environment.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing and licensure and registration by the Virginia Board of Nurse Examiners as a Licensed Practical Nurse. One year prior child/adolescent psychiatric experience preferred. We will consider LPN Applicants.
The successful candidate will also posses outstanding organizational and problem solving skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and confidential information in a professional, time sensitive manner. Superior verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills are required along with the commitment to quality customer service.
