Job Purpose:
Serves patients by providing educational information;Â monitoring vital signs and functions; administering medications adn allergy & Immonotherapy Injections.
Duties:
* Educates patients and their families by assisting in asthma and allergy health teaching.* Administers subcutaneous injection; recording dosage and time in patient record; maintaining accurate records.* Maintains patient stability and health by taking and recording vital signs when necessary.* Keeps nursing supervisors informed by observing patients and reporting adverse reactions to medication or treatments.
* Maintains equipment and supplies.* Performs routine laboratory tests as required.* Taking responsibility for accomplishing new and different job tasks; exploring opportunities to add value to Practice.
Skills/Qualifications:
Administering Medication & Immunotherapy accurately, Nutrition, Listening to Staff adn Patients, Must be able to Multi-task, Medical teamwork, Very Patient friendly, Team Player, Experience in dosing Injections, Experience in Allergy and Asthma a Plus.
