LPN - Adult and Pediatric Homecare - Charleston, SC

Maxim Healthcare Services’ Charleston, SC, office is seeking caring and dependable LPNs for Adult and Pediatric Homecare Nursing opportunities in the Charleston, SC area. At this time, all shifts are available on Full Time, Part Time and Per Diem schedules. While Maxim welcomes all nurses with a minimum of 1 year of experience to apply,  ideal candidates for these positions should preferably have prior experience with Adult or Pediatric Care (depending on the particular case). Prior experience with Ventilator, Trach and G-Tube Care is also preferred, as these skills are directly related to the needs of many of the patients. In an effort to ensure that all nurses are adequately prepared for their patients, the Charleston office offers orientation and in-service trainings in Ventilator and Wound Vac Care. We are seeking skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work within our clients’ homes providing direct patient care.  Following a physician established plan of treatment and working under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services, our Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)  instruct patients and their families in proper treatment, help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health.  As a Maxim LPN you will assess and record symptoms and/or reactions and progress in patients, administer medications and assist in rehabilitation in accordance with the physician established plan of treatment.  Maxim believes that qualified nurses are advocates and health educators for patients, families and communities. Qualifications  - Current, unencumbered state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience required with home health experience preferred- Current CPR certification- Copy of updated Physical, based on state requirements- Copy of updated TB results/ Chest x-ray- Reliable transportation- Prior experience with Adult or Pediatric Care is preferred (depending on the particular case)- Prior experience with Trach, Ventilator  and G-Tube Care is preferred   Benefits At Maxim we understand that our employees are our greatest asset, and we are happy to offer them the following benefits: - Flexible Scheduling & 24 hour On-call Service- Competitive Pay with Direct Deposit- Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance & 401(k)- Positive Work Environment  Physicians, Case Managers, and other referral sources rely on Maxim for our dedication to compassionate skilled and unskilled homecare services.
