LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor)

The Gray Gables Mansion, built in 1912, in a quiet residential neighborhood, was purchased by the current owner in September 1982. The lovely four-story English tudor mansion was completely renovated to house The Gables for chemically dependent adult women. The main level has the "great room" and dining room beautifully decorated to promote a serene and harmonious atmosphere. The upper two levels, decorated in quiet blue and white with accents of peach, have numerous bedrooms as well as group rooms, lounges, and counselor offices. The garden level provides additional living areas and bedrooms. The quality of these surroundings lends an atmosphere of warmth and security to the recovery setting.

Job Summary:

LADC serves as a case manager and primary counselor for residents in the Chemical Dependency Program.  The counselor carries out these responsibilities within the standards and guidelines of the Professional Services Plan, and other established corporate and program plans, policies, and procedures.
