LABORATORY MANAGER
Make a Difference Every Day! HemaCare Corporation, founded in 1978, provides blood products and services to over 160 hospitals in California and the East Coast. We currently have a great opportunity for a Laboratory Manager at our facility in Van Nuys, CA.
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory including testing, recording, reviewing of results, and the manufacturing and labeling of blood products.
You will develop and implement SOPs, execute validation protocols and preventative/correction actions.
Hire, train, supervise and evaluate performance of laboratory personnel.
Bachelor’s degree in biological, physical, or chemical sciences or medical technology required. State of California licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist preferred. ASCP certificate preferred.
