The CAP is the second largest medical association in the US (measured by revenues), the largest medical association exclusively supporting the specialty of pathology and the leading provider of clinical and anatomic pathology proficiency testing and laboratory accreditation serving the majority of hospitals, private laboratories and pathology practices in the United States.
The Position:
The Internet Network Engineer executes the implementation and support of the College’s Infrastructure systems. Responsible for Web Application, Databases, Imaging & Reporting, Packaged Software and related systems including security, release deployment, system availability, and maintenance. Includes both support and project management.
What We Require:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is preferred or a minimum of five years of demonstrable experience in Infrastructure and Operations systems. Implementation and support experience with J2EE Web-Related Infrastructure is a must.
Ideally, you would also have experience with some of the following: MS, Linux, Unix, LDAP, SQLServer, Oracle, Informix, Thunderhead, Adobe Document Server, Actuate, Load Balancer, Proxy Server, Content Management and Project Management.
