The therapists expect and surround themselves with excellence. Responsibilities & Requirements: Internal Medical Associates is a 20 person physician group. Our client is partnering to open a clinic in their building in the next 6-12 months. They need a director level therapist who can develop that relationship from another location but prepare to move into that clinic at full speed. Job Summary: Clinic leadership/management that promotes all of client’s clinics and programs through staff development, supervision of patient care, promotion of hospital and physician relationships, program development, and management of daily operations. Establish guidelines and procedures that delineate the functions and responsibilities of all levels of rehabilitation services. Ensure that the departmental objectives are efficiently conducted within the framework of the stated purpose of the organization and in accordance with current standards of rehabilitation medicine. § Reports to Area Director / Vice President of Operations § Supervises Team Leaders, clinical staff, business staff Essential Job Functions: § Promotion of clinic and programs through leadership and management in all job functions. § Demonstration of teamwork and support of all clinics’ team members. § Supervision of staff development that includes participation in mentoring for all staff therapists and clinic managers.§ Supervision of team leaders at clinic. Addresses management/staff/patient concerns in a fair and objective manner.§ Provide all team leaders with clear expectations of job duties. Provide each employee with two written reviews per year. § Participate in the writing of annual goals for company. Develop strategic plan for marketing, education, staffing, capital needs, etc. Coordinate individual clinic goals to align with the annual goals of company. Quarterly review of manager goals.§ Promote community and physician relationships through program development, marketing, and support of existing programs/departments. Foster positive professional relationships for the mutual support of company, community, and physicians. § Prepare and manage yearly budget. Create and present for approval a formal budget yearly with quarterly updates.§ Manage and direct front desk functions including: patient relations, customer service, data entry, co-pay collections, financial management, medical records, billing and collections relations.§ Manage clinic performance indicators: Productivity, collections/pt, CPT’s/pt, patient wait time, clinician availability, co-pay collection %, etc.§ Develop research efforts to an appropriate level within the clinical structure. Utilizes the resources available to maximize employee involvement in research and evidenced based practice. § Performance of all staff PT or OT job functions and all clinic management functions. Job Qualifications: Prefer advanced certification in (ATC, SCS, OCS, manual, women’s health, etc)Prefer advanced education in leadership and management Current CPR certification Advanced computer knowledge Excellent interpersonal skills to enable positive interactions with patients/families, and other health care professionals Proven history of success in leadership role 5 plus years experience, 2 plus years management, interested in more diverse population than just sports/ortho program development experience Education: Graduation from an approved school of occupational/physical therapy.
