We currently seek this knowledgeable and highly organized Care Manager to join us Full-Time at our Miami location. In this key role, you will review utilization, while authorizing mental health and substance abuse care services. Duties include assisting with discharge functions, providing information to members and providers, and participating in quality improvement measures. The successful candidate possesses: * RN * 2+ years of post graduation experience in the substance abuse or psychiatric health care setting * Current State Licensure at the independent level * Knowledge of mental health/substance abuse community resources and providers, plus utilization management procedures * Understanding of DSM IV or most current diagnostic edition * Ability to analyze specific utilization problems, and plan/implement solutions for quality care We offer a competitive salary & excellent benefits including medical, dental, pharmacy, vision, generous time off, tuition reimbursement and more.
