The Clinical Engagement Solutions Team plays an integral role in establishing the foundation of the UHG Clinical Toolbox by developing and delivering a set of capabilities and programs. The Clinical Toolbox is a cross-segment program whose mission is to improve quality and affordability of care by deploying/coordinating clinical services, products and capabilities across the enterprise. This position is responsible for conducting training needs analysis for the business and designing, developing and delivering all training materials, communications and activities to meet the organization's requirements. Key responsibilities include: Designing and developing online and web-based training materials. Serving as the subject matter expert (SME) regarding training tools. Working across UHG business segments to roll out training to the clinical operations organizations, including conducting “train the trainer” sessions. Conducting ongoing evaluations and assessments to ensure program effectiveness and recommending/implementing modifications as necessary.Bachelor’s degree in applicable area of expertise is required; graduate-level degree is a plus. At least 5 years experience in instructional design and delivery. Design experience within a clinical function (e.g., large provider system or managed care organization). Experience working with medical management application systems (e.g., Care Planner) and clinical criteria. Regional and/or national experience is a plus; familiarity with newest trends and techniques in training delivery (internet, video, etc.). Strong assessment, analysis and reporting skills. Ability to focus and work effectively in a complex and change-oriented work environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
