Be Secure.  Evercare was awarded the contract for the State of Hawaii's Quest Expanded Access program for the aged, blind and disabled. Evercare will serve an estimated 16,000 individuals on the islands of Kauai, Oahu, Maui and Hawaii for this contract.Evercare brings years of experience, significant resources and a proven, clinically based model of care to serve this Medicaid population.  Evercare will staff locally and partner with providers and other organizations to deliver a successful program for the State of Hawaii.    Primary Responsibilities:Manage internal and external reporting requirements for Hawaii, including required reporting to the State of Hawaii Med-QUEST Division. Develop and maintain local database(s) with associated reporting, analysis and other tools to assist in supporting and developing our health plan programs in Hawaii.  Effectively gather, analyze and present data for trending.  Integrate data from corporate systems as required. Participate with local management leadership and Corporate/Regional leadership in overall program development & improvement as it relates to information systems, data and reporting to support clinical improvement, health care access and quality, operational efficiency, financial performance and other metrics. Coordinate information system and technology development, issues, problem resolution, etc. with local team, vendor, UnitedHealth affiliates and UnitedHealth Technologies (UHT).  Position is involved in management and administration of multiple IT Functions, including management of local IT environment (servers, networks, software applications) for office and field users.  Serves as an IT resource. Management of small IT staff. Execute testing for assigned deliverables. Update business documentation. Impact of work is most often at the team level. Qualifications:3 years experience in information systems and/or data management/reporting. 3 years experience in database / data reporting (e.g. Microsoft Access). Experience with analytical manipulation and interpretation of large databases preferred. 2 years experience managing direct reports and providing hands on technical direction preferred. Expertise in using PC based tools. Experience with healthcare data exchange, terminology and coding standards preferred. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion. Coordinates work activities with other supervisors. Develops plans to meet short and long-term objectives. Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
