Guide application teams through established processes to maintain Production Control standards Interpret business requirements and engage business IT customers with implementation of Production Control best practices, batch lifecycle standards, and schedule deployment processes Assist in streamlining legacy job scheduling processes by identifying opportunities and adopting new tools or process Create and maintain process documentation and standards Investigate root cause analysis of batch scheduling dependencies across disparate groups Qualifications:Relevant Bachelors degree or equivalent experience Two to three years demonstrated expertise in batch scheduling in a distributed environment, preferably AutoSys 4.5 Two to three years experience with a strong business process, analysis and problem diagnosis background. Working knowledge or exposure to varying development life cycles, release management, change management and operational maintenance practices General knowledge of distributed systems — Unix and Wintel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent people and team work skills Unix and basic shell scripting capabilities a plus Presentation ability a plusDiversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.  Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
