For more than 25 years, Spectra Laboratories, a division of Fresenius Medical Care North America, has delivered a broad range of specialized testing services, industry-leading software, and clinical research capabilities that help hospitals, dialysis clinics, and other medical facilities improve patient outcomes.  For more information please visit our website at www.spectra-labs.com * Direct and manage all functions of the Spectra IS departments.* Manage laboratory, billing and client software development, including systems analysis, application design, project management, implementation and maintenance.* Provide department with IS expertise and support to heighten the effectiveness of operations.* Analyze business needs and recommend applications, hardware, software or enhancements required to meet short-term goals and strategic objectives.* Review new technology to determine applicability/cost effectiveness, recommend changes to existing systems and procedures and implement recommendations.* Develop annual budget and manage costs to meet budget objectives.* In the event of computer outages, organize and direct the recovery of data to minimize costs and negative impact on business. B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience.Minimum 3 years of senior management experience in I.S. 5-7 years experience of direct operational duties and supervisory responsibilities. Extensive knowledge in programming, systems development and design of multiple applications required. Must have experience in UNIX, and Windows operating systems as well as computer networking architectures. Demonstrated project management and control skills required. Must have familiarity with the clinical laboratory and/or healthcare industry environment.
