Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Manager, IT Connectivity group, the Connectivity Sales Engineer is responsible for regular contact and examination of contributions by the project’s stakeholders, encompassing user representatives, service providers and others as appropriate, bringing about a “meeting of the minds� as to requirements and/or performance according to established policies and guidelines, and reporting so that corresponding action is taken. The primary focus is coordinating Laboratory Information System (LIS) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) interface projects to PAML IT systems.

 Develop project plans documenting project deliverables, milestones, required tasks, and staffing for assigned projects. Document technical scope and objectives of assigned projects. Coordinate activities of assigned project personnel to facilitate that project progresses on schedule and within budget. Prepare assigned project status reports and keep management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues. Document requests for changes from original specifications and consult with IT Integration Manager and IT Integration Project Manager on actions to be taken. Develop and maintain assigned technical and project documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Four year IT or Business related degree or four years combined education and experience Previous IT and technical project experience Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook), Microsoft Project, Visio Strong customer service skills Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Five years previous IT experience and project management. Successful completion of prior interface or technical projects Knowledge of the Lab industry including: LIS/EMR systems, HL7 message structure, laboratory test codes/descriptions, and medical billing requirements
