Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager

Our client, a home infusion pharmacy, is actively seeking a qualified individual for a career opportunity in Yuma, AZ.

Pharmacy ManagerBe a Registered AZ Pharmacist with clinical experience. Understand coverage writing and prior authorizations; Must be able to digest and navigate clinical studies to substantiate approve/denial claims Be able to research literature to find how current issue applies to coverage; Read therapy evaluation and translate it into how it fits into their medical coverage; Previous experience as clinical coordinator a big plus.  He/she will review and evaluate individual drug orders for efficacy, safety and cost. Document and manage the care provided to patients. Supervise the drug distribution operation and is responsible for assuring safe and efficient drug distribution and control system. He/She monitors drug therapy and offers cost effective alternatives, as appropriate. In addition, routinely communicates with physicians, nurses and patients regarding drug therapy, while contributing to the accomplishment of initiatives to improve the cost-effectiveness of drug therapy. Works a day shift with on-call.Supervise new branch of home infusion pharmacy.

In-patient hospital experience is a plus as well clinical infusion experience.  Supervisory experience in a clinical environment required.  Home Infusion experience required.  Pharm D is preferred.








$60-$65/hour plus benefits.nation's capital Washington DC.
