Home Based Clinical Therapist
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This is a professional position that provides a variety of diagnostic and treatment services to children, adolescents and their families with dysfunctional emotional and behavioral problems. The clinical therapist will work under the direction of the Child and Family Services Coordinator. The successful candidate will be assigned therapy cases that are regularly discussed with supervisory personnel with regard to overall diagnostic findings, treatment plan logic and client progress.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
v Intake interviews (or psychological testing if M.A. is in clinical psychology) and formulation and coordination of treatment plans
v Individual, group and family psychotherapy
v Collaboration and participation with other clinical staff in planning and conducting treatment
v Community consultation and education
QUALIFICATIONS:
v M.S.W. in social work from an accredited school of Social Work, or M.A. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
v Training and experience should demonstrate familiarity and competency with various treatment modalities with children and their families
v Valid MI drivers license and ability to meet agency’s insurance and company’s standards for coverage
